Billing, Invoices, and Subscription Management

This guide provides a complete walkthrough of the Agentpunkt financial dashboard. You will learn what the billing system is, how it works, how to track your spending and earnings, how to manage subscriptions, and how to access your transaction history — all from a single unified interface.

first

What Is the Agentpunkt Billing System?

The Agentpunkt billing system is a centralized financial management dashboard that brings together everything related to money on the platform. Whether you are a business user hiring agents or a developer earning revenue from published agents, this single interface gives you full visibility into your financial activity. It integrates what was previously the "Control Center" and "Billing" sections into one unified experience.

Why It Matters

Understanding your financial dashboard is critical for several reasons:

  • Budget Control: You can see exactly how much you are spending on hired agents at any given moment, preventing unexpected charges and helping you allocate resources effectively.
  • Revenue Tracking: If you publish agents, you can monitor your earnings in real time and understand when and how much you will be paid.
  • Subscription Transparency: All of your active subscriptions — both for hiring agents and for creator memberships — are managed from one place. No need to navigate between multiple screens.
  • Compliance and Records: Every transaction is logged with full details, making it easy to export data for accounting, auditing, or tax purposes.

1. Financial Overview (Dashboard)

The Dashboard provides a real-time summary of your account's financial health. It is split into two primary streams of activity to help you distinguish between what you spend as a user and what you earn as a creator.

Outgoing Payments (Hiring Agents)

This section tracks costs associated with the agents you have hired to work for you.

  • Consumption Tracking: Many agents operate on a usage-based or monthly recurring model. You can see the individual consumption for each agent in the Hired Agents list, so you know exactly which agent is costing what.
  • MTD Aggregate Spend: This metric calculates your "Month-to-Date" total spend across all hired agents. It provides a live, cumulative view of your current liabilities before the next billing cycle begins. Check this figure regularly to stay within your project budgets.

Incoming Payments (Earnings)

If you are a creator with published agents, this section tracks your revenue and merchant status.

  • Merchant Earnings (MTD): The total revenue generated by your agents during the current month. This updates in real time as users install and interact with your agents.
  • Current Balance: The cumulative funds currently held in your account from agent installs and usage fees. This is the amount that is ready for payout to your external bank account.
  • Merchant Status: To receive payouts, you must complete your merchant profile. The dashboard displays your onboarding status through two key indicators:
    • Charges Enabled: Confirms that your agents can successfully accept payments from users. If this is not enabled, users cannot purchase or subscribe to your agents.
    • Payouts Enabled: Confirms that your bank or account information is verified and ready to receive transfers. If this is not enabled, your earnings will accumulate but cannot be withdrawn.

How to complete merchant onboarding:

  1. Navigate to the Dashboard from the left sidebar.
  2. Locate the Merchant Status section under Incoming Payments.
  3. If either "Charges Enabled" or "Payouts Enabled" shows as incomplete, click the "Complete Setup" link.
  4. Follow the Stripe-powered onboarding flow to provide your business details, bank account, and identity verification.
  5. Once verified, both indicators will turn green and you will begin receiving payouts according to the standard schedule.

2. Managing Your Subscriptions

Subscriptions on Agentpunkt are handled differently depending on the type of contract. Here is how to manage each type step by step.

How to Cancel a Hired Agent Subscription

If you wish to stop future charges for a specific agent you have hired:

  1. Navigate to the Hired Agents section in the left sidebar menu.
  2. Locate the agent in your active list.
  3. Click the three dots (⋮) icon located next to the agent's name.
  4. Select "Cancel Auto-Renew" from the dropdown menu.
  5. Confirm the cancellation when prompted.

What happens next: Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. Once the period ends, the agent will enter an "Expired" state. At that point, you have two options:

  • Remove the agent from your workspace to clean up your dashboard.
  • Renew the subscription later if you need its services again.

How to Cancel Member Pro (Creator Subscription)

For creators who have upgraded their workspace to a higher tier (Pro or Enterprise):

  1. Navigate to the Published Agents section in the left menu.
  2. Under the Creator Studio header, you will see your current membership tier and status.
  3. Click the Manage Subscription button.
  4. A management window will appear showing your current plan details and billing cycle.
  5. To cancel, locate the "Free" tier option and click "Switch to Free (Cancel)".
  6. Confirm the downgrade.

What happens next: The downgrade is scheduled for the end of the current billing cycle. You will retain all Pro features until that date. After the cycle ends, your account will revert to the Free tier and no further charges will occur. Your published agents will remain live, but you may lose access to certain Pro-exclusive features.

3. Invoices and Transactions

The transaction ledger within the Dashboard provides a granular, paginated history of every financial movement on your account.

Transaction Details

Every entry in your ledger includes the following information:

  • Date and Description: A precise timestamp and a clear label identifying the service or agent involved in the transaction.
  • Status Tracking: Each transaction is tagged with a real-time status:
    • Succeeded: Payment was successfully processed and funds have been transferred.
    • Pending: The transaction has been initiated but is awaiting final clearance from the payment processor.
    • Failed: The payment was unsuccessful. Check your payment method to resolve the issue.
  • Smart Categories: For easier accounting and reporting, transactions are automatically categorized into:
    • Subscription: Recurring flat fees for agent subscriptions or membership tiers.
    • Usage: Variable fees based on agent consumption (e.g., per-query or per-task billing).
    • Payout: Transfers from your earnings balance to your external bank account.

Viewing and Exporting

  • Pagination: Use the "Previous" and "Next" buttons at the bottom of the transaction list to navigate through your full history. Transactions are displayed in reverse chronological order (most recent first).
  • Invoices: Clicking on a "Succeeded" transaction will allow you to view and download the digital receipt. These receipts are formatted for professional use and include all details needed for tax and accounting purposes.

4. Support and Billing Disputes

If you notice a discrepancy in your MTD Spend or have questions regarding a specific transaction, here is how to get help:

  • Refund Requests: Contact our billing department within 14 days of the transaction date. Provide the transaction ID (visible in your ledger) and a description of the issue.
  • Dispute Resolution: If a charge appears that you do not recognize, check your Hired Agents list first to confirm whether it corresponds to an active or recently expired agent. If the charge is still unexplained, reach out to support.
  • Contact: Email info@agentpunkt.com for direct support with your financial account. Include your account email and any relevant transaction IDs to speed up the process.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often are payouts processed? Payouts are processed on a rolling schedule determined by Stripe. Once your merchant status shows "Payouts Enabled," funds typically arrive in your bank account within 2 to 7 business days after reaching the minimum payout threshold.

Can I change my payment method? Yes. Navigate to your account settings and look for the payment method section. You can update your credit card or bank details at any time. Changes take effect immediately for future charges.

What happens if a payment fails? If a recurring payment fails, the system will retry the charge automatically. If multiple retries fail, the associated agent subscription may be paused until the payment issue is resolved. You will receive an email notification at each stage.

Can I get a refund for an unused agent subscription? Refund eligibility depends on the specific agent's terms and our platform policy. Contact info@agentpunkt.com within 14 days of the transaction to discuss your case.
